That is stunning. I have listened to it three times now - so beautiful! Thank you for thinking of me and sharing this. I can't say enough how much I love it.
I am a renegade Waldorf teacher who happened upon home-education, life-learning, and ultimately a holistic way of being with my daughter, my family, myself. I am obsessed with Genesis~ not the band or the biblical book~ but the spark of creation. And the cultivation of vitality, presence and relationships. I am cheerfully melancholic and perfectly imperfect. What else? We'll see!
I think we've all experienced those fleeting moments when a thought appears fully-formed in our head. The lightbulb goes on and...enlightenment! However, some thoughts are not always benevolent. They may not resonate with us, or they may not be ripe for the picking. I had a teacher named Bonnie River-Bento who said that Ideas are living beings who long for expression through human beings. She said that it was up to us to choose whether we'll entertain them or not.
The Ideas I entertain here have diverse influences and inspirations, from beloved friends and family to books and "random" teachers like a quote on a coffee cup. Just as I will acknowledge my many influences, please reference this source if you use what I've written. And, if my writing moves you, positively or negatively, drop me a comment. While I LOVE the written word, I truly cherish heart-to-heart conversations.
